Sunrises often mean beginnings right? Gives a hope, that something new will happen to us. Kshitij was the same, every morning as we woke up he looked at the sunrise being the early riser and prayed to the almighty to fulfill his dreams. He's not too selfish, he never asks much but just has a small desire from the God, and he hopes he'll fulfill his wishes one day. He wakes up everyday with the same hope, same desire. And today is the same. He gets up, prays to the sun-god and does his chores before leaving for his workplace. He decides to not get distracted and focus on the work. So far, he succeeded but as the lunch break starts his goal is broken. Because he sees her. Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Phul sa hai khila aaj din... Did I just said the morning had already begun? But for Kshitij, his day started right now in the moment his eyes saw her, his world started blooming, like a flower. And now that he's seen her, he wishes the day never ends, the moment never ends. Rabba mere din yeh na dhale Woh jo mujhe khawab mein mile Use tu lagede ab gale Tenu dil da vasta Swearing on his little heart, he begs to God to give him the chance, the opportunity, to progress in his relationship which is still yet one sided, as his friends say. But that one sided, he feels it's just so beautiful. The way his mind forms her images even in his dreams, day or night, dusk or dawn and he wishes for a moment for it to be real. But of course moments end, so did this one. And now he stands in front of a gurdwara chanting the same mantra he does every single day - to reach her. Rabba aaya dar de yaar ke Sara jahan chod chad ke He's not a free man, but here is he for his selfish wish leaving his whole world behind to the doors of the Lord of this Universe to just pray and get what he wants. Mere sapne sawar de Tennu dil da vasta He just wants a small dream to be fulfilled, is it too much to ask? He even gives an ultimatum, a loose threat to the universe keeping his heart as the hostage. Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga The next day, the same cycle repeats and his day blossoms again. Another day, another hope. One should always keep a hope, isn't it? So he reaches the gurudwara after a not-so-good day at work, and his mind forces him to take out his frustration on the universe, like almost everyone does.
Baksha gunaho ko, sun ke duwao ko Rabba pyaar hai, tune sab ko hi de diya Meri bhi aahon ko, sun le duwao ko Mujhko wo dila, mene jisko hai dil diya Hasn't the Lord of the Universe always listened to people who came for help? He has been a keen listener and helped people in need, like a caretaker he is of the world. And he's a big forgiver too isn't it? He forgives sin of the world, because one sin doesn't defines the whole human being, or does it? He's the ultimate forgiver, the ultimate being who cares. And love, he's the one who has spread so much love in the entire world Baksha gunaho ko, sun ke duwao ko Rabba pyaar hai, tune sab ko hi de diya Like he forgives every sin, and listens to everyone Kshitij wants him to fulfill his wish too, grant him his love too. Meri bhi aahon ko, sun le duwao ko Mujhko wo dila, mene jisko hai dil diya His wants his prayers to be answered as well, his sighs to be ending soon and just give him... the one he truly wants. Aas wo, pyaas wo uske de itna bata Woh jo mujhko dekh ke hanse Pana chahun raat-din jisse Rabba mere naam kar use Tenu dil da vasta People's hope starts with sunrise, but Kshitij's hope begins with her. She's his thirst, his hope, his yearning and his world. And he just wants she knows this. The small smile she gives when she sees him, is all he wants to see forever. 'Please God', he requests 'write her in my fate. ' 'For me, for the sake of my heart atleast. ' Like her, his day begins once again. Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga.. Manga jo mera hai, jaata kya tera hai Mene kaun si tujhse jannat manga li Kaisa khuda hai tu, bas naam ka hai tu Rabba jo teri itni si bhi na chali ho ooooo ooo..... Isn't love what he deserves, isn't it what everyone wants then why isn't he getting what he deserves? And if he doesn't deserves it, why does the universe shows all the signs that he deserves it? And what loss would the Lord face if Kshitij will get what he truly wants. He isn't asking for heaven, is he? then why it seems so tough Manga jo mera hai, jaata kya tera hai Mene kaun si tujhse jannat manga li Is the Lord even the Lord or just the namesake one, that he can't give someone the love they truly deserve? Just write her in his destiny, isn't it so simple? Kaisa khuda hai tu, bas naam ka hai tu Rabba jo teri itni si bhi na chali Chahiye jo mujhe kar de tu mujhe ata He promises to worship and bless him, if the Lord does his work. He will pray for the lord's empire to go on He will pray for his love to flourish Just give him her, her life back, for the sake of his heart Jeeti rahi saltanat teri Jeeti rahe ashiqui meri De-de mujhe zindagi meri Tenu dil da vasta He wishes to his day never end, his love to never end and gets the one, he always desired, wanted, needed. the one whom he dreams about, the one he's hopeful about and the one he's faithful for. Dear God, grant me my only wish. Rabba mere din yeh na dhale Woh jo mujhe khawab mein mile Use tu lagede abb gale Tenu dil da vasta 'I've left everything to be here with you, just fulfill my dream for the sake of love, for the sake of my heart. Please.' he wishes again at night, the day ending and the hope still blooming to continue from the next morning like every other day. Rabba aaya dar pe yaar ke Sara jahan chod-chad ke Mere sapne sawaar de Tennu dil da vasta As next day arrives like the previous same day, he sees her, she smiles, he hopes, he prays and the cycle continues. Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Ajj din chadheya tere rang warga Maybe someday the prayer will be answered Maybe someday the pleas will be heard Maybe someday the love he deserves, he'll get it
